Christmas Gifts for Christian Tweens and Teens

Are you one of those gazillion people who are stumped over what to get your Christian teen? How about that 'tween' that wants to be as cool as a teen? Well, my sister-in-law ... Sunshine ... found this really awesome Christian website that sells very, way-cool, over the top stuff. Sunshine -- you ROCK, AND ... you hit the motherload, baby! Yes! It's THAT good!

They have shirts, hoodies, jackets, pants, hats, belts, beanies (hats), stickers, books, DVDs, and friends ... they have Christian CDs -- BROKEN OUT by Genre! No more guessing!

In fact, they even have cool stuff for all you hip-hop mommas and papas (and little kids) that want to look [ehem] cool around your kids and their friends...

The website is called C-28

They even have a sale on 2 t-shirts for $25! You can buy two shirts for guys, or 2 shirts for girls, or 1 for a guy and 1 for a girl, or 1 for your kid and 1 for you... just bear in mind that some sizes and styles are limited in the 2 for $25 section. Ummm -- they have clearance, too. Okay -- I don't think I have to say anything more. [CLEARANCE!]

Check out some of the selections they have:

Now ... your hip-hop tweens and teens can go to school with cool clothes that sport a Christian message ... in fact, it's the kind that will make other's look at the shirt for a second before it really sinks in... very subliminal for those who are slow on the up-take, if you know what I mean. They also have wallpapers, screensavers, avatars, good grief -- I can't tell you everything they have, now can I? You'll just have to go check it out!

And moms ... they have long shirts ... okay, they have shorter ones too, but if you're concerned about modesty, they have styles for you!!

One last thing ... just in case you're wondering, here's what their website name means: "C28 stands for Colossians 2:8, Not Of This World (NOTW), and all about Jesus!" AND ... "C28 donates a certain percentage of all purchases to youth ministries. The mission at C28 is to share the life changing gospel message of grace, truth and love of Jesus. So far, 7607 people have come to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior since opening 5 years ago. All praise goes to God!"

Now get off my blog and -- Check it Out -- Let me know your thoughts -- in that order.

Very cool!

Unless you're among those who are really down on all the Christian mass marketing. Which I am not. It beats the tar out of Nike logowear, IMO.

Nice! I'm going to share this link with my older sister. She has a nine year old and a 14 year old that might be interested.

Definitely cool. I don't have any t(w)eens to shop for right now, but I would definitely look for something there if I did.

While looking around the site, I read this in the owner's testimony: "a young girl on a wheel chair came into [the c28 store in] Temecula asking 'is this the store that prays for people?'" Now that is pretty cool.

That site is pretty cool! I don't have any teens or tweens to buy for (nor will I be sporting any hip hop gear), but they have some great stuff. And I'm with Carol...they're going to be sporting some kind of logo...it might as well have a great message!

Tweens are definitely hard to buy for…and worse than that, finding a gift that they can identify with and that is worthwhile and helps teach good old fashioned values is even more difficult. For me, gifts where they can learn something of value is important.

One thing that I stumbled across for my daughter is called The Cupcakes Club It’s an online book club for tween girls. The books cover a lot of issues and really push good judgement, kindness, etc. The membership is inexpensive, and the girls get a book sent to them every couple months and the site has forums and character blogs and games they can play.

I thought it was great!
