Juicy Purple Grapes
With a Safe Infant Feeder?
About 20 minutes of perfect peace and quiet as your teething infant sucks every last bit of juice and pulp out of the grapes...
Leaving... nothing but slick, slippery, slimy skins!
And, in honor of the fun we had with grapes today, I leave you with a tried, tested, and true recipe that you have either already had, made, or know someone that did...
Blueberry Jello Salad
(can not be made as a molded salad -- make in dish you will be serving it in)
2 pkgs. (3 oz. each) grape jello
2 cups boiling water
1 can blueberry pie filling
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 large container Cool Whip, thawed
Chopped nuts
In a 9x13-inch pan, mix the jello and boiling water until dissolved. Add undrained pineapple and blueberry pie filling. Stir and let set in the refrigerator. Mix Cool Whip and softened cream cheese. Spread on top of the set jello mixture. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Chill in the refrigerator. This is a great potluck dish. It can be served as a salad or dessert.

One thing I'm really missing ... free time. It has been non-stop baby time, and I haven't been able to keep up with my beloved blogs. I can't wait until I can go to work on Monday, and have a whole entire hour at lunch and some quiet time before I start working to catch up with all the blogs (oodles and oodles of them) that I have bookmarked on my computer at work. If you haven't seen me commenting on your blog, it's not 'cause I don't love you... it's 'cause I've been preoccupied wiping up vomit, poop, and slimy grape skins!!! But -- thank you all for all your comments, love, and support that you have left me.
Hope you all have an awesome weekend, and if I have a free moment or two, I'll pop by your blog and say HI!
Hugs!

I truly hope you have a restful, peaceful, HEALTH-FULL weekend.
God must have needed your total focus for something!
Heal, Rest, get plenty of fluids and love that darling baby! oh...and your husband.
Love that Safe Infant Feeder - very cool. :)
Oooo! I had one of those feeders too. Never thought of putting grapes in it. So glad to know it's nothing personal and you'll be commenting on Monday....right?!? :D J/K. I know what trials you've been through and I'm just wishing a happy, healthy weekend with no relapses.
Ok, so I SO want one of those feeders for the next time around. That is awesome!
Man, I wish we had those safe...(Had to go back and check the name. I started to say Safe Baby Eaters, and I knew that sounded wrong.)Safe Infant Feeders! Wish we had those when my kids were that little. And now that I've said that statement, I'll declare myself officially old.
Where do you get those Safe Baby Feeders? Whe used to let our babe suck on those leathery dehydrated apple rings! She loved them & by the time she had gummed them enough to come apart the piece was mush. Wish I would have had one of those!
Such a cool invention -- wish I would have thought of it and made lots of $$$! Glad you are doing better. I'll have to get the Safe Infant Feeder when we adopt!
Never heard or seen the safe infant feeder. It is amazing the things they are coming out with for babies. My youngest is 8. Is what we had available already "old fashioned?" LOL
Hope you have a restful weekend my friend!
I think our baby safe feeder needs new bags....ours aren't so white anymore. *blush*
Glad it gave you 20 minutes of calm.
I'm glad you got some needed peace and everyone is on the upswing in health.
But what I am most happy to read is that you are a WORKING MOM too! I was feeling mighty lonely (and slightly jealous) of all the SAHM I read about, but then I thought about how it really is good to have food in the house and get over it.
So do you want to do lunch on Monday?
Sure wish they'd had those things when mine were little!
I LOVE those safe infant feeders!
Great recipe, too. I'm going to print this out and fit it in my menu plan somewhere. ;)
What a perfectly....creative, unique.....cool....thing to do!

KPJara - God is MESSING with me! Just kidding... Maybe he did? Who knows???
Lauren, Heather, Jeana, Susanne, Momma M Carol - This was the best invention ever! My son just loves it to death!
Chilihead2 - No worries -- I'll be back to stalking you regularly! HEHEHEHE!
Peach -- I can't tell you how excited I am about the adoption... sooooooo excited!
MomRN2 -- don't worry -- we're still using 8-year old inventions... like the exersaucer!
Heath -- ours isn't all that white anymore! I'm wondering if I can bleach them, because they are still good!!!
Shalee -- Oh, honey -- lunch on Tuesday would work better for me... give me more time to commute to a half-way spot for us!!! hehehe!
Praying For Your Prodigal -- it is a cool invention -- wish I had come up with it! It was invented by a DAD who almost lost their son to a choking incident... Necessity... the mother of all inventions (or something like that!) -- Oh, and I'll be checking your site out today!!!
I never tried one of those safe feeder things because I wasn't sure about them. If we have another baby, I'm going to get some for sure!! Thanks for the advice : )
I have never seen one of those little feeders--very cool!
What an amazing contraption! Wish I'd had something like that when my kids were babies.
