It's Me to a Tee!

I'm at home, in bed, recouping from a slight emergency (that I'll share about soon) ... so, you probably wont hear from me until next week ... but in the mean time, I'll leave you with this ... let's just see how clever y'all really are!

All of the following terms describe me beautifully:

  • In the pudding club
  • Up the Duff
  • Up the Spout
  • Up the Stump
  • Wahine Hapai

I'm certain that if you're a military spouse, and have traveled the globe, then you'll probably understand these slang terms!! And if you do, feel free to share your translations with everyone!

Have a glorious weekend!

Aren't you the clever girl, GiBee? CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

I am so beyond excited for you that I can barely catch my breath right now.

My only question now is: How many babies are there?

Take a rest and enjoy your weekend.

I'm no way connected to the military. But let me guess, anyway:

You went to a country hotel in Gloucestershire (pudding club)and ordered steamed pudding (duff). But there is something wrong with it (up the spout). So you decided to ... well, do something in bed (up the stump) so you can wake up early for a flight to Hawaii where you plan to surf (wahine).

How did I do?

I have no idea. Everyone's congratulating you, so I'm assuming it's really good news.

But those slang terms don't sound too good.

Praying that it's what I'm hoping it is and that would be very good.

Definitely sounds to me, after reading the other comments, like you're being blessed with another little one. If I hadn't read the comments I would have guessed a sinus infection or something worse! Congratulations - how completely wonderful.

I don't know anything about military lingo, but I had my own hunches and after reading some of the other comments I'm on the right track!
Congratulations!!

I'm a military spouse, but missed the meeting with those terms. Congrats anyway! I'm assuming your emergency had something to do with eating pudding with a straw and it ending up in your nose, but your neighbor from Hawaii used a homeopathic method to remove it, right?

Seriously, I'm so excited for you!

Oh girl! How blessed are you?! I am so grateful for your wonderful news. If the prayers of people who only know you via the internet are heard . . . WE love you. I'm so happy.

Okay, I'm not sure what any of that meant but I'm assuming it must be great news because everyone is saying "congratulations" and stuff like "pass the diapers." I'm sure hoping that means you're expecting again which would really be an answer to prayer!!

Keep us posted!!
