On July 2, I'm having my ankle reconstructed. Pretty major surgery. Major cutting, major bolts, major pain.

I was there 2 years ago! I have the pins and scars to show. It took a year for it to really feel normal again but walking and real showers are wonderful once you get past the cast/rehab. I hope it is not your right leg, mine was and it was a nightmare not driving. I will keep you in my prayers as you recover.
